How To Achieve A Temporary Or Permanent Tattoo Cover Up

Tattoo Cover Up
Tattoo cover up can be either a temporary solution to a long standing problem, or it can be a permanent one. At its most basic level, covering up a tattoo simply involves using either clothes or makeup so that the tattoo is no longer visible. This can become a permanent way of life, or it can simply be a way of managing until a permanent solution can be found. One thing is certain, if you have a tattoo which relates to a gang or a partner that you are no longer with, you will want to find a way of coping with the situation as quickly as possible.
The simplest tattoos to cover up are those which are on the arms or torso, as this just involves the wearing of different clothes. In most climates, the arms will be covered up anyway at certain times of the year. It is easy to wear a light shirt with long sleeves during the summer months instead of one with short sleeves. This should be enough to cope with the majority of arm and body tattoos, although you may need a white covering under a light shirt to stop a really prominent tattoo showing through.
Tattoos which cannot be covered up in this way can be handled by using makeup cream. This will be able to obscure the tattoo completely if it is worn in the right way. You will need to be very careful in your choice of color and shade if the covering is not to look obvious. If you have tattoos on different parts of your body, you may well need a different shade of covering for each one.
These temporary solutions will allow you to go about your daily life with no worries about an old unwanted tattoo being seen. You may be happy to manage like this for an indefinite period of time, or you may just want to cope until you can arrange to have laser removal carried out. This is an expensive and time consuming procedure, so you may want to consider the alternative of permanently covering up the tattoo.
A permanent tattoo cover up can only be effected if you are prepared to wear another tattoo in place of the original. The procedure involves going to a tattooist and having them create another tattoo over the top of the old one. This needs to be of a darker color than the original, and obviously there can be no gaps where the old tattoo used to be. This is the only way to permanently cover up the message or picture of an old tattoo which is no longer wanted. It is a relatively cheap procedure, certainly much cheaper than laser surgery, and it will achieve a permanent tattoo cover up.
